My daughter has studied the flute with Anna for almost five years. Anna is an amazing music teacher and incredibly accomplished professional flautist. Ellie met Anna with no musical knowledge and with care and optimism she guided her from the simple scale to exam pieces really quickly. Anna’s true vocation for music and teaching is very obvious. It’s because of this that Ellie looks forward to her lesson every week! As a parent and a head of music at a large secondary school, I really appreciate the support and encouragement Anna had given to my daughter (and other children) in their musical education. Personally and professionally, I can not say enough good things about her.

Anna’s teaching is always perceptive, challenging and fun! As an adult learner, what I most value is that Anna takes my learning seriously and is determined to help me achieve my own objectives. She displays real attention to detail in helping me acquire good tone and sound technique. However, Anna's experience as a solo performer means that every lesson looks beyond just technique to encouraging a real understanding of the music and what it takes to communicate it to an audience.
Dermot, father of Emily, Grade 8
Anna is a great musician with a gift for teaching and inspiring her pupils. My daughter Emily has made great progress with her breathing, tone, rhythm and sight reading, but most importantly she loves to play, thanks to Anna.
Stuart, father of Hannah, Grade 5
Anna has taught my 9 year old daughter flute for 2 years; taking her through to Grade 4 with distinction. Anna has kept my daughter enthusiastic and technically very skilled. Thank you!
Charu, mother of Anaya, beginner flute
My 6 year old girl loves Anna's style of teaching flute. She enjoys her lessons thoroughly and takes pride in being able to read some basic music and play a couple of songs on her flute. We couldn't think of a better teacher to introduce her to the world of music. Many thanks to Anna for her very child friendly teaching style.
