


EDUCATION
Passionate about music education, Anna Rosa is in high demand as a flute tutor and workshop leader. She has taught in various capacities, from children in early years to university students embarking on a career in music.
Anna Rosa is a flute tutor at Salford University and at The Grammar School at Leeds. Based in South Manchester, she also teaches at her flute studio, preparing students for music examinations, competitions and auditions.
As a guest tutor, abroad, Anna Rosa has been invited to teach at Austral University of Chile, and at Cairo Conservatoire, following a concerto tour in Egypt. She has coached chamber music ensembles at the University of York, and has led a class on flute pedagogy in the woodwind department of the Royal Northern College of Music.
Anna Rosa works closely with the Hallé Orchestra, leading creative workshops and performances in schools in the Greater Manchester area. She has been invited to devise and direct music programmes for children by the King's Lynn Festival, and has been a woodwind mentor with the programme Furthering Talent - Awards for Young Musicians. With a passion for community impact through music, Anna Rosa has worked with children living in extreme conditions in India, and with El Sistema, presenting programmes in refugee camps in Greece.
