UK-based flautist Anna Rosa Mari is a recording artist with Divine Arts Records, Naxos America, having performed extensively as a chamber and orchestral musician with orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic, The Hallé, Manchester Camerata, and Ulster Orchestra, amongst others. Previously, Anna Rosa held the position of Solo Flute with the Chamber Opera of the Greek National Opera at age 21.

Currently the Academic Director at OAcademy Music Conservatory from the Orchestra of the Americas Group, Anna Rosa is responsible for the design and development of the programme, which brings together rising musicians globally with world-class soloists, orchestral players, conductors and institutions in the first-ever blended learning conservatoire.

A former tutor at Salford University and a close collaborator with the Education Department of the Hallé Orchestra for many years, Anna Rosa has devised educational programmes for major festivals and orchestras in the UK, to El Sistema-inspired programmes in Greece and with non-profit organizations in India.

 

Anna Rosa studied Music Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music (MMus, BMus), as a full scholar from the Onassis Foundation and the RNCM. She’s a 2020 alumna from the Global Leaders Institute for Arts Innovation.
